GATE will welcome about 1500 people per day, which inevitably makes it a covid safe event. This implies that every visitor older than 12, will have to present a valid festival ticket, a COVID SAFE TICKET and a proof of identification. For those of you who do not have a valid COVID SAFE Ticket, we also offer the possibility to get tested for only €10 in our own test center, right next to the festival.
Everyone who is coming to GATE, has 2 options:
1. COVID SAFE TICKET
The perferred option remains of course the COVID SAFE TICKET, which can be provided by:
1. the covidsafe.be app (check this instruction video for help (in French)). Don’t forget to log in BEFORE your festival visit (via Itsme for example, instruction video here).
2. a printed COVID certificate via masante.belgique.be
3. a paper version sent to you by mail
To obtain a valid COVID SAFE TICKET, you’ll need
- to be fully vaccinated
- a recovery certificate
- to have tested negative on a recent (48hr) PCR or RAT (24hr) test

2. Test Center
For those of you who do not have a valid COVID SAFE Ticket, we also offer the possibility to get tested for only €10 in our own test center, right next to the festival. Be sure to bring an ID card. This antigen (RAT) test is valid the day of the test and the day after until midnight. So, whoever plans to come (back) to GATE the day after this test, will retrieve the (hopefully negative) result in the covidsafe app and can go straight to the entrance, without having to test again. However, anyone who returns a third day will have to get tested again.

Timing: Our medical staff will be at your disposal from 14h00 to 17h00. Arrive early to avoid long queues. While you wait for GATE to open (see opening hours below), you can visit our friendly neighbors at Circle Park.
Reservation: Send us an email (testgatecouleurcafe@hotmail.com) with your name, day(s) of testing and your preferred timing (as early as possible between 14h00 and 17h00).
